Private Coaching Lesson for group of school students
Private Coaching Lesson for group of school students

During the March Break, we are pleased to host a private coaching lesson to a group of international students from Newton's Grove School, Mississauga. The lessons were held between March 20-24, 2023 at Splitsville Richmond Hill, and coached by Mary Leung.
We received positive feedback from the group later and they were pleased to learn the proper bowling techniques.
Special thanks to Tony Woo, and Alden Chan came out to assist with the lesson.

A reminder for Zone Bowling Club members to report their 2022/23 winter season average for the MIB award.
Below is the MIB Awards Leader board (average improvement to beat):
Group A (starting average 170 and below): TBD
Group B (starting average 171 to 185): TBD
Group C (starting average186 and above): TBD
Cut off date for reporting your averages is June 16, 2023.
Any member that has a higher improvement, please report to Mary Leung at mary.leung@zonebowlingclub.com. Bowling balls awards will be given out by end of June.
**MOST IMPROVED BOWLER AWARD (MIB) – Male/Female in 3 average groups. Bowler with the most improved pin count on his/her average will receive the award.

Awards – One (1) ball for each average group per winter season.

It is with great sadness that we announce our club founder Mr. Alan Chan has passed away at age of 72. He passed away peacefully on Friday, May 12, 2023, surrounded by family and friends at his home.
On behalf of Zone Bowling Club committee, we express our deepest condolences on the passing of Alan, he was a big part of our lives would be an understatement. He will always be remembered on his dedication and spirit in bowling. His impact on bowling to the community over the last decades runs deep and will continue for years to come.
