1. COACHING
Conducted by certified USBC coaches, Mary Leung and/or other guest coaches.
Clinic fee includes lineage and coaching (see website clinic registration for details)
For beginners, intermediate level and any bowlers who wants to improve their skills and have their performances analyzed.
Video recording during clinics at specified scheduled time to help participants relate and understand the coaching instructions
Direct family members of our club members, under sixteen (16) years of age, will be exempted from the membership fee to join the clinic
Clinic dates and time will be posted early for online registration
2. BOWLING KNOWLEDGE
Seminar(s) regarding bowling knowledge will be organized.
3. BALL KNOWLEDGE and FITTING
Free analysis of ball grip measurement
Free basic technical consultation on bowling equipment
Knowledge on member’s own equipment such as maintenance of the bowling balls, finger grips….etc.
4. TOURNAMENTS
Club tournaments will be held throughout the year with different formats and locations.
Help members gain experience by organizing and participating in tournaments hosted by other organizations.
5. LUCKY DRAWS
THREE bowling balls will be allocated for CLUB TOURNAMENT'S lucky draw. Details will be announced before each event. Full (annual) membership payment before Feb 15 of each membership year is required to be eligible for the lucky draws.
6. ACHIEVEMENT AWARDS
Member that accomplish any one of the following achievements during local leagues or tournaments will receive this award.
Three (3) Brunswick sponsored bowling balls are designated for these achievement awards, limited to one ball per bowler per membership year while quantities last. Distribution of one (1) ball award claims per bowling venue (total to three (3) claims annually). Drilling and other charges not included.
All rewards claim must be reported via email or text to a committee member within seven (7) days from the date of the achievement.
• 800 series - No average restriction
• 300 perfect game (male and female 200 average and above)
• 11 strikes* in a game (male) 199 average** or under
• 10 strikes* in a game (female) 199 average** or under
* Strikes are not required to be consecutive
** Highest of all previous winter and summer season CTF sanction leagues book averages with minimum 21 games.
(For 2024, CTF book average reference will be winter 2022-2023 and summer 2023)
ELIGIBILITY FOR ACHIEVEMENT AWARD
Recipient must have valid Zone Bowling Club annual membership^ by Feb 15 for the year of the achievement. Award will not be granted if the achievement is performed before validation of the membership, including membership renewal.
^ Zone Bowling Club starts collecting and accepting new or renewal membership in November for the following calendar year (Jan – Dec)
Must provide unaltered photo proof of the official league or tournament score sheet which shows the followings information of the bowler: date of league/tournament, average and scores. Monitor screen shot or full game print out also required. Photos will be posted on Zone Bowling Club website and Facebook page.
Members must be wearing Zone Bowling Club shirts with the Zone Bowling Club logo permanently embroidered, printed and/or ironed on at the start of the games and throughout the league/tournament time. Zone committee will offer assistance to iron the heat transfers on your shirts should you have difficulties. Changing into a Zone Bowling Club shirt during the games will render the potential award nil. Honor system is observed.

8. SPECIAL EVENTS

9. MOST IMPROVED BOWLER AWARD (MIB) – Male and/or Female in the following 3 average groups
Bowler with the most improved pin count on his/her average will receive one bowling ball for their category.
Group A – 170 season starting average and below
Group B – (171-185) season starting average
Group C – 186 season starting average and above
ELIGIBILITY FOR MIB AWARD:
Bowler must be a current^' Zone Bowling Club member and bowl in a CTF sanctioned league.
^' Current member for the MIB award means the bowler has to be a Zone member in the start of the winter season in which the year book average is applicable for the following winter season as the starting average. That means two (2) years of Zone membership. Must have previous winter season yearbook average (min. 30 games) to use as starting average.
Calculation of the improved average will be the difference of the starting average and the submitted sanction average to CTF on the last day of the winter league season (min. 48 games).
Awards sponsored by Brunswick and 900 Bowling Pro Shop will be presented in May/June.
10. ZONE BOWLING CLUB IRON-ON HEAT TRANSFERS
All new members will receive one free set of Brunswick and Zone Bowling Club iron-on transfers when they receive their membership card. In order to qualify for the Achievement Awards, this iron-on transfer must be permanently displayed on their bowling shirts (not pinned on or taped on).
Additional logos iron-on transfers are available for purchase. It is the member's responsibility to purchase the additional transfers.
Zone uniform with individual's name is available for purchased. See details on website.
11. REGULATIONS/FINE PRINT
It is the responsibility of the member to observe all rules and regulations.
As a Zone Bowling Club member, you must understand, agree and abide to the rules and regulations of Zone Bowling Club. Zone bowling club committee reserves the right to accept and/or revoke the eligibility of any membership and/or benefits.
Final decisions of any conflicts will be resolved by committee votes.
No refunds for membership, uniform and/or iron-on transfers.
We are always looking for volunteers, please do not hesitate to offer your assistance.

Help members gain experience by organizing and participating in tournaments hosted by other organizations.
5. LUCKY DRAWS
There are THREE bowling balls for lucky draw annually during CLUB TOURNAMENTS. Details will be announced before each event. Full (annual) membership payment before Feb 15, 2018 is required to be eligible for the lucky draws.
6. ACHIEVEMENT AWARDS
Members that accomplish any one of the following achievements during local leagues or tournaments will receive this award.
3 balls annually. 1 ball per bowler yearly. Drilling and other charges not included.
Bowl a 800 series - No average restriction
Bowl a 300 perfect game
Bowl 11 strikes* in a game for men 189 average** or under
Bowl 10 strikes* in a game for women, no average restriction
* Strikes are not required to be consecutive
** Current CTF sanction league average of minimum 21 games on the day of the game is required. Previous winter league CTF year book average will apply if current average is less than 21 games.
ELIGIBILITY FOR ACHIEVEMENT AWARD
Recipient must have valid Zone Bowling Club annual membership* by Feb 15 for the year of the achievement. Award will not be granted if the achievement is performed before validation of the membership, including membership renewal.
* Zone Bowling Club starts collecting and accepting new or renewal membership in September for the following calendar year (Jan – Dec)
Must provide photo proof of the game score and date of the achievement. Photos will be posted on Zone Club website and Facebook page.
Member must be wearing the zone uniform or shirts with the Zone Club logo throughout the whole game. Changing to a zone uniform in the middle or at the end of the game will not count.

Bowler with the most improved pin count on his/her average will receive the award.
Awards – 1 ball for each average group per winter season.
Group A – 170 season starting average and below
Group B – (171-185) season starting average
Group C – 186 season starting average and above
ELIGIBILITY FOR MIB AWARD:
Bowler must be a current* Zone Bowling Club member and bowl in a CTF sanctioned league.
* Current member for the MIB award means the bowler has to be a Zone member in the start of the winter season in which the year book average is applicable for the following winter season as the starting average. That means 2 years of Zone membership.
Must have previous winter season yearbook average (min. 30 games) to use as starting average.
Calculation of the improved average will be the difference of the starting average and the submitted sanction average to CTF on the last day of the winter league season (min. 48 games).

USBC COACHING CERTIFICATE SUBSIDY
Zone Bowling Club is offering $200 subsidy each, for 2 current members with passion and potential in pursuing coaching career to attend USBC Coaching Certification Bronze level course.
Eligibilities:
1) At least 2 full consecutive calendar years of Zone memberships before day of application.
2) With average of 190 and above; subject to approval by Zone Bowling Club committee.
3) Required to coach at Zone clinic once a week for 6 consecutive months upon success completion of the course.
4) Remain as Zone member for at least one calendar year after the completion of the course.
