Dear Zone Members,
We are writing to inform you that one of our long-serving committee members, Ms. Winnie Tam, will be stepping down in 2025. We gratefully appreciate her invaluable contributions to the Zone Bowling Club (ZBC) over the past twelve years.
Winnie joined ZBC in 2011 as one of the club's founding members, holding membership #0014. She became a committee member in 2013 and has since been an integral part of our organization. During her tenure, Winnie selflessly volunteered at most ZBC tournaments and events. She also served as our graphic designer, creating artwork and promotional materials that elevated the club's presence.
In recent years, Winnie has developed a passion for the rapidly growing sport of pickleball, becoming a member of the Toronto Pickleball Club. To dedicate herself fully to this new pursuit, Winnie has decided to resign from her committee role and pass the torch to a new member. We extend our heartfelt thanks to Winnie for her dedication to ZBC and her efforts in promoting 10-pin bowling within our community. We wish her all the best as she embarks on this exciting new chapter in her pickleball journey.
Meanwhile, we are pleased to announce that Ms. Karen Yung will be joining the committee to fill Winnie’s role. Please join us in giving Karen a warm welcome to the team!
Yours sincerely,
Zone Bowling Club Committee
